Kathleen Cuschieri

Kathleen is a post-bar law clerk at Austin Legal Group. Her work focuses business and commercial litigation, along with corporate and securities transactions. She also assists land use and other related environmental matters.

Kathleen graduated valedictorian and magna cum laude from Empire College School of Law in June 2024. While in law school, Kathleen competed in multiple state-wide litigation competitions, including the 2024 Traynor Moot Court Competition, where she won the Geoffrey Hall Wright Award for Best Oralist. Kathleen’s team also took Third Place in the 2023 state-wide Environmental Negotiations Competition organized by the California Lawyers Association. These combined experiences honed her abilities to analyze complex legal issues, negotiate effectively, and draft persuasive legal documents.

Prior to joining Austin Legal Group, Kathleen cultivated a career in environmental consulting, with a focus on land use, environmental, and CEQA compliance. Kathleen holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco and Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her interdisciplinary education provides her with a strong scientific foundation to comprehend and address the environmental aspects of legal matters.
